Nigeria militants attack wedding convoy, kill 30 including groom

Yola (Nigeria): A wedding convoy in Nigeria's Borno state was attacked by suspected Islamic militants who killed over 30 people, including the groom, reports said Monday.

No one has so far claimed the responsibility but majority of attacks in Nigeria are staged by Boko Haram militants.


And the road in the Borno state, where the convoy was attacked, lies along the forests that are known to be the den of Boko Haram militants.

The wedding convoy was attacked when the groom and the guests were being driven to Adamawa after the official Muslim wedding ceremony of fatiha, which had taken place in Firgi village.
