Boko Haram: Jonathan to set up committee for victims’ compensation

President Goodluck Jonathan has assured victims of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram, that a committee will soon be put in place to work on how  they will be compensated.

This is just as he attributed the survival of the country to the church’s  prayers and belief in the unity of the nation.
The president made the remarks on Sunday during the opening ceremony of Jubilee Word Festival 2013 of the Word of Life Bible Church at the Word of Life International Gospel Centre, Ajamimorha, Warri, Delta State.
According to the Presiding Pastor of the ministry, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, who took his sermon from I Samuel 13:8, November, which is significant to his family, ministry and church, symbolizes hope, adding that something positively great can still happen in the lives of individuals and the nation.

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday hosted the victorious Golden Eaglets to a cocktail party, announcing various rewards for the players and officials as a token of appreciation for winning the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates ( UAE).
The President rewarded each of the players with the sum of N2 million while the team’s head coach, Manu Garba was given N3million for his efforts.
