Kano Emir, elevates late Bayero's son, shuffles Emirate Council members
The Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II has proclaimed the rearranging of the Emirate Council parts with the height of the late Bayero's child, Aminu Ado Bayero to the position of "Wambai" and Ahmad Ado Bayero to 'Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida'.
Additionally, child of the late Tijjani Hashim, Galadiman Kano was named 'Dan Isan Kano'.
Sanusi, who proclaimed the activity in his royal residence through the weekend, clarified that it was as an aftereffect of the demise of Tijjani Hashim, Galadiman Kano, which gave space for substitution.
The position of "Wambai" Kano which is second in the pecking order in the Emirate Council will now be possessed by the late Bayero's child, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, who until his height involved the post of 'Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida'.
While Ahmad Ado Bayero succeeded 'Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida' and left his previous position of "Tafida" to Abdullahi Sanusi, uncle to the imperial ruler, Sanusi II.
Likewise, child of the late Tijjani Hashim, Galadiman Kano, Barde Tijjani Hashim was designated to the post of 'Dan Isan Kano' , which was the previous position of Abdullahi Sanusi, uncle to occupant Kano emir.
Nonetheless, the senior councilor in the Kano Emirate Council, Alhaji Abbas Sanusi, who is uncle to Emir Sanusi II, was hoisted to the position of 'Galadiman Kano', which is the most senior position among emirs the beneficiaries to the Kano throne, while Abbas Sanusi has succeeded the late Tijjani Hashim, Galadiman Kano who, passed away a week ago.
