The news was everywhere this week that Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has re-opened for their academic studies as they have pulled off from the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). This news led to the return of over 10% of their students across their 4 campuses.
The real deal was that the state government has advised the institution to go back to classroom. This was done through the labour
But the real news is that there was not time Ebonyi State University publicly announced that they have accepted to do so. This definitely means that such news is rendered false and should be ignored by students of the institution.
